2012-2013 SCHOOL YEAR

PLACEMENT TEST FEE - $40.00

Students new to HFCS will be required to take a readiness assessment or placement exam to evaluate the child's mathematics, reading, and language arts ability.  This fee is to be paid at the time testing is scheduled and is non-refundable.

REGISTRATION/BOOK FEE - $225 per student

Only after a student has been accepted and the registration fee has been paid will the student be considered enrolled.  This fee covers workbook and textbook costs for the year and is non-refundable.

TECHNOLOGY/ART/SCIENCE FEE - PreK3 and PreK4:  $25/K-8: $75

Parish rates apply to those who are registered and active members of Holy Family Catholic Church or a Catholic church in the Diocese of Fort Worth. Each family is asked to supply a letter showing they are registered at their parish and signed by their pastor.

Tuition may be paid in full in July or will be collected through FACTS Tuition Management Company on a 2 or 10- month payment schedule beginning in July.

STUDENT CLASSROOM SUPPLIES - $50.00

A small list of supplies for each grade will be available at the end of the school year.  Some of these items will not have to be bought each year such as scissors and rulers.

This $50 fee will cover supplies ordered by the school in bulk.  (ie. Construction paper, copy paper, tissues, folders, paper towels, etc.)  Assignment notebooks for grades 3-8 are included in this fee.

 SCHOOL UNIFORMS

Students are required to wear the official school uniform starting in Kindergarten.  The Parent/Student Handbook found on the website contains a copy of the dress code.  Uniforms are purchased through Parker Uniforms.

PHYSICAL EXAM

Each newly enrolled student must have a physical exam and must show evidence of current immunizations before attending classes.  The "Catholic School Health Reprot' form is available in the school office and one will be emailed to all new parents at the beginning of the summer.

SPORTS PARTICIPATION FEE - $25.00

Students in grades 6-8 who participate in the Diocesan sports program will be charged a participation fee per sport due at the start of each season.  Student athletes must annually have a physical before practicing or playing.  The "Catholic School Health Report" form is available in the school office.

STUDENT LUNCHES

HFCS uses an outside food service to provide hot/cold lunches.  These are offered at a minimal fee and can be purchased from a monthly menu.  Milk/juice may be purchased on a daily basis for students bringing lunch from home.

FIELDTRIPS AND PROGRAMS

The classroom teacher plans fieldtrips and programs that coordinate with the curriculum.  A tentative list of fieldtrips and their fees will be availabe at Final Registration at which time payment is due.  The total cost will vary by grade.

PARENT/TEACHER ORGANIZATION

A fee of $20 per child is collected to support the activities of the PTO during the school year.
