APPLYING FOR A TUITION SCHOLARSHIP

Deadline is March 1, 2010 

The Diocese of Fort Worth and Holy Family Catholic School have contracted with Private School Aid Service (PSAS) to administer the Tuition Scholarship application process.  The purpose of PSAS is to provide a reasonable assessment of the ability of each family to pay for the education of their children.  PSAS does not make any decisions about recipients and amounts of tuition scholarships awarded.  Recipients and amounts of tuition scholarships awarded from the Bishop's Scholars Fund are determined by the Diocese of Fort Worth.  Recipients and amounts of tuition scholarships awarded from Holy Family Catholic School are determined by Dr. John Shreve, Father Joseph Pemberton and their designees.

The application process is as follows:

  1. Complete the PSAS Student Aid Form 2010 - 2011:

Access the form PSAS Form and save it to your computer. This form can be completed on your computer by placing the cursor at the appropriate fields and typing in the information. Print the completed form and return it and all required documentation to the address:

Make copies of your completed form and required documentation for your records prior to submission to PSAS.

  1. For consideration, your completed form and all required documentation must be postmarked no later than March 1, 2010.
  1. The $21.00 non-refundable application fee will be paid by Holy Family Catholic School.  There is no need to submit payment when sending in your completed form.
  1. PSAS will process all properly completed applications postmarked no later than the March 1, 2010 deadline and submit the results of their analysis to the Diocese of Fort Worth.  The Diocese will make their decision regarding recipients and amounts of tuition scholarships awarded from the Bishop's Scholars Fund.  The Diocese will notify all applicants of any amounts awarded.  The Diocese will then forward the PSAS analysis and their recipient and award information to Dr. Shreve.
  1. Dr. Shreve, Father Joe and their designees will utilize the PSAS analysis and the Diocese's award information in determining recipients and amounts of tuition scholarships awarded from Holy Family Catholic School.  Dr. Shreve will notify all applicants of any amounts awarded.

If you have any problems printing the file, please follow the steps below:

-Click on the File
-Select Print
-At the bottom of the print window there is an option called Print What:
-Change this option from Document to Document and Comments
-You should see the change in the small print preview screen
-The PDF should print correctly
