This morning I had the pleasure of recognizing our students who received Highest Honors, High Honors and Honors in their respective grades; as well as the top 3 students in each class on AR points. It truly brightens my day to see so many of our students receive these well-deserved honors, as it is a testament to the perseverance each of them shows towards academics.

As a child one of my earliest memories is walking into the theater to watch the movie Star Wars. At this morning’s prayer service I had the pleasure of dressing up as Darth Vader for the students as a reward for reaching and exceeding our book fair goal.

At this morning‟s prayer assembly our students heard about how Jesus took a little child and said to His disciples as they were bickering over which of them was the greatest, “Whoever welcomes this child in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me; for the least among all of you is the greatest.”
