Reflections from the Principal

This third week of Advent, our daily prayer continues to allow us to become much more real about naming our desires and preparing the way for the Lord. We begin this week with joy, knowing that our celebration of all the ways our Lord comes to us is near.

 Come, long-expected Jesus.

Excite in me the joy, love and peace it is right to bring to the manger of my Lord.

Raise in me sober reverence for God who acted there, hearty gratitude for the life begun there,

and spirited resolution to serve the Father and Son.

Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of Mexico and the Americas, feast day is today, December 12. Our 8th graders performed the reenactment of Our Lady of Guadalupe appearing to Juan Diego in 1531 at our Monday Prayer service.

Safety Patrol currently has only one parent volunteer scheduled which limits safety patrol availability on a consistent basis. Please consider giving one or two mornings a month to chaperone the student volunteers – 30 minutes max. If you can help, please email Carline runs more safely when the patrol is there.

Report Cards will be emailed on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. PreK 3 and 4 and Kindergarten will be sent home in the Monday folders.
