2012-13 Tuition Letters will be distributed via email this week and you will have until February 17 to send in your registration. In addition to the tuition information letter, the pre-registration form and Tuition Payment Preference, a Parish Confirmation letter will be included.

The first 2 weeks of February are reserved for returning families, the 3rd week is for Holy Family Parish families then registration will open to the public. We encourage all of our families to register early to secure your child's place.

Registration for 2012-2013 – We are now accepting applications for next school year. If you have a child, not currently attending HFCS and would like to enroll that child, please send in your application asap so that we can set up testing. Siblings are considered first in the registration process.

Spelling Bee winners are Lyra Durr and Evan Lawrence.

Evan will represent HFCS on the Elementary level and Lyra will represent on the Middle School level at Trinity Valley School on February 16. Great job!

Annual Appeal: CRAZY week incentives have been extended to Wednesday, February 1, so students can GET CRAZY during Catholic Schools Week. With 60% participation, students will enjoy CRAZY SOCK DAY – a step in the right direction! With 80% participation, students will also enjoy CRAZY HAT DAY. Participation is now at 48%. 2nd Grade is leading the pack with 79% participation – way to go! Check out the chart below to see how each grade is doing. THANK YOU to the many families who have given and to our amazing teachers & staff who had 100% participation. Whether your gift is $5 or $500, please give today!

Save the Date for the 2012 Stephen Breen Spirit Games on Sunday, March 4, at Nolan H.S. The Spirit Games will begin with Mass with Bishop Vann at 11:00am. The Games will include activities such as Dodge Ball, Fear Factor, Amazing Race, Minute to Win It, Carnival Booths and much more!

Open House is this Sunday, January 29, from 10:00-2:00.

Spread the Good News about HFCS! Word of mouth is still our best form of advertising, so if you know someone who is interested in learning more about Catholic education at HFCS, please invite them to our Open House. Catholic Schools' Week starts with Hospitality weekend, January 29/30, with HFCS students wearing uniforms to Mass: red polos, girls in plaid jumpers or skirts and boys in their navy slacks. Please encourage your child to attend Mass in uniform since this is also Open House.

Non-Uniform Dress: Students who wear their uniform to Mass the January 28/29 weekend will earn a non-uniform dress for Monday, January 30. Student greeters, readers and helpers are needed. If you are interested in helping, please contact Jennifer Tayag at 817-737-4201or email: .

Family Lunch Day will be on Wednesday, February 1. This will be a spaghetti dinner for HFCS students, parents, grandparents in celebration of Catholic Schools' Week. Grades 7 and 8 will be selling soft drinks and baked goods.

There will be 2 lunch seatings: PreK3-gr. 3 will be at 11:00am and Grades 4-8 will be at 12:00noon.

Basketball Results: Winning teams were the 6th Girls, and 8th Girls. Losses went to 6th Boys, 7th boys and 8th Boys. Play hard and have fun.
