Monday Memo, February 1
Date: February 01, 2010
Volume 11, Issue 22
From Dr. Shreve
At our Prayer Service this morning, we prayed to our Heavenly Father to fill our hearts with the light of faith. We are reminded that when we serve one another, we bring the light of life to others.
As we begin Catholic Schools Week, we can remind ourselves why we send our children to a Catholic School, “Be it known to all who enter here that Christ is the reason for this school. He is the unseen but ever present teacher in its classrooms. He is the model of its faculty and the inspiration of its students.”
As parents and teachers, we strive to live out our calling to be disciples of Jesus. It takes work. We are not always successful. But, with faith in our Lord, we will overcome any obstacle that stands in our way as we help build HIS kingdom here on earth. God bless you.
Carline etiquette – We’re asking for courtesy for the carline drop-off and pick-up. Please do not walk across the carpool line. It is very dangerous! In addition, we’re experiencing parents stopping in the car line, getting out of their cars, walking the children into the school while the car remains running. This also causes a delay for everyone else. If you have the need to unload your children, please park on the street in front of the Church. This provides safety and doesn’t delay the flow of the carpool line. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
