Monday Memo, March 8

Date: March 08, 2010

Volume 11, Issue 27

From Dr. Shreve

Jesus connected with people whose lives were at an all-time low: a women caught in adultery; Zacchaeus, who was a crook; a woman who had been married five times; the paralyzed and the possessed; all hanging on by a thread and ready to let go. Jesus entered their world and said, “Don’t you dare give up! Anchor yourself in me and connect with others.”

Dear Jesus, you get me through the tough times when my face is in the dust. I’m putting all my problems in your hands. How much safer could I be? Thank you for loving me. AMEN. (from Living with Passion)
