Volume 10, Issue 34
From Dr. Shreve
Yesterday's Gospel is a great reminder to us to hold the words of Jesus in our hearts, "I am the vine. You are the branches." Jesus continues to invite us to be connected to him and bear fruit. It takes work and practice to remind ourselves that we are to remain focused on this message. One of the easiest ways is to have simple conversations with Our Lord, just as you would to a friend or a spouse. Jesus loves us. He listens to us. He is with all the time to lead us and guide us. Let his words guide us through the temptations and rough times this coming week. Let go and let God.
