  • Good attitude
  • Water bottle
  • A good pair of running/athletic shoe(this is VERY IMPORTANT)
  • Change of clothes of desired

Mind Set

  • Willingness to try and give 100% effort
  • Have fun - No horseplay

What You Can Expect From the Coaches

  • To lead the students in stretching prior to running/walking
  • To help set goals for your child as it pertains to running/walking
  • To run or walk with the children and push them to their potential
  • To set a good running/walking example

Parents

Talk to your child about what they want out of Running Club (Examples: social time with friends, to become a faster runner, to build endurance). This will allow us to separate the children according o their expectations.

Provide feedback so that we can improve the club both for you and your child/children. Advise coaches of any injuries or potential injuries or health issues.

If you would like to come and use this as your exercise time with your child/children, please do. We always need extra adults on the field to provide encouragement to the children. We also need non-exercising adults to help sign children in and out and log in their mileage totals.
