Music, in particular, provides benefits of enjoyment and discipline for an entire lifetime. One often hears, “I wish I had studied an instrument or learned to sing in a group.” I’ve never heard, “I wish I had never learned how to play the piano or sing, or play guitar”. Studies in music last forever, and I’m delighted to have a small part in carrying on the tradition! |
