Philosophy:  My husband and I have our two children in Catholic Schools.  We strongly believe in the whole education of the child.  Our Kindergarten classroom is my garden where I continually see Jesus’ gift of a child to be nurtured and encouraged to grow in His image.

Mrs. Joyce Roberts, Computer teacher

Philosophy:  Children are the future of the world.  Being able to teach them is an awesome responsibility with its many rewards and challenges.  I believe a good teacher builds students intellectually and spiritually, always leading by a Christ-centered example.

Ms. Janice Barker, Physical Education teacher

Philosophy:  Ms. Barker feels it is important to incorporate Christian philosophy in all teaching areas.

Mrs. Theresa Orand, Librarian

· Certified Early Childhood – Grade 4, ESL generalist; 6-8 English L.A. and Social Studies – Highly qualified designation by State of Texas

Philosophy:  Mrs. Orand believes teachers should fan the flame of natural curiosity and equip her students so that they can become life-long learners.  As Catholic teachers, we must encourage children to see with their hearts.

Philosophy:  Mrs. Fay believes as a teacher she can challenge her students to do more than expected to reach their fullest potential.  She considers the Christian attributes of faith, forgiveness and love, a top priority.

Ms. Stella Herrera, K– 8^th Spanish teacher

Philosophy:  Ms. Herrera enjoys teaching Spanish because she believes that a second language is extremely important in today’s world..

Mrs. Linda Gangolf, Music teacher

· 25+ years of teaching piano

· 6 years teaching music

Philosophy:  Mrs. Gangolf believes that Fine Arts enriches and supports all other areas of study.  Music, in particular, provides benefits of enjoyment and discipline for an entire lifetime.  One often hears, “I wish I had studied an instrument or learned to sing in a group.”  I’ve never heard, “I wish I had never learned how to play the piano or sing, or play guitar”.  Studies in music last forever, and I’m delighted to have a small part in carrying on the tradition!

Mrs. Missy Korzekwa, Liturgical singing practice

Philosophy:  Mrs. Korzekwa believes music in Church services allows the person to pray and glorify God with a God-given talent.
